2022年冠军:Fikile Brushett '02

“It was absolutely mind-opening,” Waugaman said. “That experience helped give me the confidence and inspired me to take on an experience in college where I studied at an historically non-white university in newly post-apartheid South Africa.”

The 黑人校友团体 (BAC) was formed in 2020 during the summer of racial reckoning in the United States. Her middle and high school experience motivated her to do more for her alma mater in the 30 years since she graduated.
